Venturefest East
Venturefest East brings together innovators, successful entrepreneurs and investors to make things happen. Taking place on 21st September at Newmarket Racecourse, tickets and exhibition stand sales are now on sale with special early bird discount rates available – make sure you are a part of this engaging and exciting event.
The event will address issues specifically related to building a business in today’s fast moving market and highlight the type of support and funding currently available. Working with our sponsors and partners, including Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), we want to create new business opportunities and help innovative businesses to grow.
The inaugural Venturefest East took place on May 24th and attracted over 650 delegates, with 96% saying they would return to the event again. This year the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP will be leading the delivery of Venturefest East, with tickets on sale now.

The Team
Venturefest East is run by a small team of willing volunteers who are committed to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the east.
Laura Welham-Halstead, Head of Communications and Connectivity at the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP, is the Venturefest East Champion, having been part of the original bidding and organising committee.
Robin Childs is the dedicated Project Manager for Venturefest East, and is employed by the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP.
New Anglia LEP have committed to sponsor the event as a key partner, and will be working with us to develop the programme for the day. CW are also working with us to deliver both the Industry 4.0 session and supporting event management of the day.
This Year’s Partners – Slots and Casino Sites
This year only, Venturefest East partners with the most exclusive slot sites in the UK.
