About Venturefest East 2017

On 21st September 2017 the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP will be leading the delivering of Venturefest East, at Newmarket Racecourse. We are delighted to announce a sterling line up of keynote speakers including; Dr Ian Campbell, Director Health and Life Sciences (Innovate UK), Professor Fiona Lettice, Pro-Vice-Chancellor & Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Norwich Business School (UEA), and Rene van der Merwe, Senior Director, Respiratory and Inflammation (Medimmune)

Our National Sponsors, and creators of the Venturefest concept, are the UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK, and the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), the UK’s Innovation Network. They work with people, companies and partner organisations to identify and drive the innovations that will grow the UK economy. Venturefest East has the primary focus of bringing together innovative businesses, entrepreneurs, funders and academia to help create connections and forge collaborations.

What happened in 2016?
Over 650 delegates attended Venturefest East 2016 to celebrate and showcase the innovation taking place in the region. Alongside leading keynote speakers was an array of exhibitors demonstrating the latest technology to give you an insight into what is ‘hot’ and what is ‘cutting-edge’ in the market.
